Frédéric Vuillemin, owner of the restaurant Becher Gare is without doubt a courageous man with a big heart! Two weeks ago, when the government ordered him to close the doors of his popular restaurant for an indefinite period of time, Fred did not think twice and, together with the local administration, worked out an action that will probably remain in the positive memory of the inhabitants of Bech and its surroundings for a long time to come. Since the beginning of the crisis, he has been cooking and delivering between 60 and 100 daily dishes at cost price (10 € per dish of the day, 15 € the complete menu, including starter and dessert) to the elderly and vulnerable members of the community. He spares no effort and not only delivers, but also makes sure every day that all his “elderly residents” are still in good health. This is how neighbourly love goes!
